The CDM method is a soft soil stabilizing method which mixes cement slurry with soft soil insitu to attain a required strength.
Soft soil is stabilized by the 2-phase chemical reaction :
First, a hydration reaction caused when the cement mixes with water, an ettringitte of capillary crystals is generated. As the age grows, the product of the hydration generates a pozzolana reaction with the clay minerals in the soil.
